 Starting December 27, 2022, you need to register your Smart Prepaid, Globe, TNT, TM and DITO SIM card in compliance with the SIM Registration Act in the Philippines. We are given 180 days to register our respective SIM card network from the start of the registration and will end on April 26, 2023 as a deadline. Failure to comply within the given period will result to deactivation.

You also need to register eSIM, modem embedded SIM, wireless home broadband, Pocket-WiFi SIM and other devices that uses network SIM card. If you’re on postpaid plan, the included SIM may already pre-registered by the network but still they need to keep in touch with you regarding the registration process confirmation.

How to Register SIM Card

Smart, TNT, Globe, TM and DITO SIM Card Registration

You can register multiple SIM cards from any network and as many as you can under your name as this law does not limit to one SIM per person. Registration is also FREE, all you have to do is comply with the requirements and registration process on each SIM and network. Please DO NOT share your OTP with anyone.

Register Smart, TNT SIM card

For existing Smart Prepaid, Smart Bro, and Talk N text subscriber, you can follow TNT SIM card registration through this portal or link.

Smart Postpaid subscribers will be notified and will be asked for their confirmation. The customer details and documents they have provided when they subscribed to Smart's service/s will suffice. 

Register Smart Postpaid via text:

Just text YES  then send it to 5858 to confirm your Postpaid SIM registration.

Enterprise Customers will be notified and will be asked for their confirmation to register their existing information with SMART thru their authorized signatories.

Registration for new users starts December 27, new SIM cards will require SIM registration prior to activation. The following information will be collected: 

  • Full name, Birthday, Sex, Present or official address, ID, and ID number 
  • A liveness check or selfie photo will be required for validation. 

Businesses and organizations will be asked to provide the following: 

  • Business name 
  • Business address 
  • Full name of authorized signatory

When can I start to register my SIM? 

You can already register your SIM starting December 27, 2022, for both new and existing SIMs. If you have just bought a new SIM, you must register it to activate it and begin using it for call, text, and data services.

Register DITO SIM Card

Who needs to register? 

All DITO SIM card users whether prepaid or postpaid, tourists and foreign nationals who are using the DITO SIM card, businesses, and corporate entities.

Can I register more than one SIM card?

Yes, you can register multiple SIM cards under one (1) name. 

How can Postpaid users register?

Existing users will be notified and will have to confirm their submitted information. 

DITO subscribers can register starting December 27, 2022 Registration is free of charge. 

Subscribers will be required to provide their personal information such as full name, date of birth, sex, present or official address, and valid government-issued ID.

For minors: The SIM card should be registered under the parent/legal guardian's name along with: 

  • Any government-issued ID of the parent or guardian
  • Consent of the minor's parent or guardian to register the SIM card

SIM Card Registration Valid ID requirements

Aside from your full name, date of birth, sex, and address you are also required to provide the following list of documents.

  • Passport
  • National ID
  • SSS (Social Security Service) ID
  • GSIS (Government Service Insurance System) e-Card
  • Driver’s License
  • NBI (National Bureau of Investigation) clearance
  • Police clearance
  • Firearms’ License to Own and Possess ID
  • PRC (Professional Regulation Commission) ID
  • IBP (Integrated Bar of the Philippines) ID
  • OWWA (Overseas Workers Welfare Administration) ID
  • BIR (Bureau of Internal Revenue) ID
  • Voter’s ID
  • Senior citizen’s card
  • UMID (Unified Multi-purpose Identification) Card
  • Person with Disabilities card
  • Other government-issued ID with photo

For Business and corporation use

  • They are required to provide the following documents below.
  • SEC Certificate of Registration or DTI Registration
  • Board Resolution designating the authorized representative 
  • SPA (Special Power of Attorney), in the case of other juridical entities
