At the 2025 Tencent Global Digital Ecosystem Summit (GDES), industry leaders and innovators convened to explore the future of intelligent transformation. Dowson Tong, Senior Executive Vice President of Tencent and CEO of the Cloud and Smart Industries Group, highlighted AI’s role in driving industrial efficiency. “Truly usable and practical AI applications drive industrial efficiency, while internationalization charts new growth possibilities.” Tong shared.
Tencent Launches Scenario-Based AI Capabilities
Key announcements included the launch of Tencent Cloud’s Agent Development Platform 3.0 (ADP), enabling enterprises to seamlessly integrate autonomous AI agents across functions such as customer service, marketing, inventory, and research. Complementing this, AI Infra’s Agent Runtime was introduced to provide a robust infrastructure for building and deploying AI agents at scale.
New models powered by Hunyuan, Tencent’s proprietary large language model, were announced, including Hunyuan 3D 3.0, Hunyuan 3D AI, and Hunyuan 3D Studio, imbued with cutting-edge 3D generation capabilities for creators and developers in media and gaming industries, and more.
Further expanding its AI capabilities, Tencent introduced new models powered by its proprietary large language model, Hunyuan, including Hunyuan 3D 3.0, Hunyuan 3D AI, and Hunyuan 3D Studio, offering advanced 3D generation tools for creators and developers in the media and gaming industries.
Reaffirming its commitment to global collaboration, Tencent strengthened partnerships across Southeast Asia and beyond, underscoring its vision for a digitally empowered industrial future driven by AI and cloud innovation. The summit also saw Tencent Cloud International signing partnership agreements with global enterprises, from Asia Pacific companies including Datacom, IOH, Gardi Management, GoTo Group, MahakaX, RYDE Technologies, StoneLink, True IDC, and 99 Group; to Middle Eastern companies including Coop Bank Oromia and Nativex; European companies including eMAG; and North American companies in cloud.
