realme just announced the GT series in China that features realme GT8 Pro, powered with Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 5 processor and a new camera system in partnership with Ricoh GR.
The display is now slightly larger, featuring a 6.79-inch 2K 144Hz OLED panel with 7,000 nits peak brightness, hardware-level DC dimming, and True Color eye protection for a smoother and more comfortable viewing experience.

Under the hood, the GT8 Pro runs on the Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 5 chipset, clocked up to 4.6GHz, paired with 12GB or 16GB of LPDDR5X RAM and 256GB, 512GB, or 1TB UFS 4.1 storage options. It also integrates realme’s R1 graphics chip, which enhances gaming visuals while maintaining low power consumption. The device features the GT Performance Engine for optimized gameplay and a 7,000mm² VC cooling system to sustain performance during long gaming sessions.
For camera hardware, the GT8 Pro boasts a triple-camera setup, headlined by a 50MP Ricoh-tuned main sensor developed in collaboration with Ricoh Imaging Company, a 50MP ultra-wide lens (116°), and a 200MP periscope telephoto lens offering 3x optical and up to 120x digital zoom. The camera system also includes a dedicated GR-style camera mode, and color filters inspired by "Classic RICOH GR Tones". Additionally, it features a 7P high-lens array, 5-layer ultra-low reflection coating, deep absorption blue glass, and a double-layer AR coating to ensure precise, true-to-life shots.
The device also boasts IP69 certification, providing strong resistance against dust and high-pressure water. It has dual symmetrical speakers, Ultra-Wideband Pulse Motor, Wi-Fi 7, Bluetooth 6.0 and NFC connectivity.
It packs a large 7,000mAh battery with support for 120W wired and 50W wireless charging. It can fully charge in around 43 minutes, and realme claims it maintains excellent health for up to five years.
