POCO is gearing up to bring their new mid-range gatekeeper and 5G all-rounder smartphones to the global market under the X-series line. We already saw teasers that trend on social media sites and it makes us all excited about what it brings to all POCO fans. According to the company’s official Twitter account, the latest POCO X5 and X5 Pro 5G will be launching on February 6th at 20:00 GMT+8.
POCO X5 Pro 5G Key Features
The POCO X5 Pro 5G features the Flow AMOLED DotDisplay technology, a very first in their X series. It offers a close to flagship level type of screen that brings an even more immersive viewing experience. It is lighter, more flexible, thinner, and more drop-resistant compared to conventional OLED glass screens. It uses a special flexible substrate which is why this type of screen are widely used in high-end to flagship phones.
Besides making a high-quality screen, it also comes with a 120Hz high refresh rate and 10-bit color depth which is a must if you’re looking to get a new all-rounder smartphone.
Another rare feature you can get from X5 Pro 5G that can only be found on flagship phones is the 1920Hz high-frequency PWM dimming, it helps reduce eye strain due to screen flicker problems and makes the display smoother even in a long period of usage.
The POCO X5 Pro 5G brings 108-megapixels triple rear camera setup providing the best daytime and night shots. The main camera also supports 4K video recording which is another worthy upgrade from its predecessor.
