Black Shark announced their latest gaming smartphone series the Black Shark 5, Black Shark 5 RS and Black Shark 5 Pro in China. The 3 devices features a 144Hz refresh rate, 6.7-inch FHD+ flat AMOLED screen and the Pro version with 10-bit screen from China Star Optoelectronics. The base unit Black Shark 5 is powered by Snapdragon 870, 5 Pro version has Snapdragon 8 Gen 1 and the 5 RS model has Snapdragon 888+ and 888 variant.

All 3 variants have built-in Vapor Chamber cooling while the Pro model has the edge as it uses "anti-gravity" dual VC liquid cooling system to suppress heat. The Black Shark 5 and 5 pro is powered by 4650mAh dual-cell battery and has 120W fast charging capability while the RS model has smaller 4500mAh battery and still can charge to 120W.
