 Mobile Legends Bang Bang MLBB M3 Worlds Championship is the most awaited esports tournament every year, where teams from Asia, Europe, Brazil and North America battle their way to the top and become the next M3 World Champion. The tournament will be held offline and the venue is in Singapore from December 6-19, 2021 with a total prize pool of $800,000 USD and the champion taking home $300,000.

Mobile Legend Bang Bang M3 World Championship

The 16 top teams will compete in 2 stages, the Group Stage and the Playoffs. First we have to understand the group draw, the champions of MPL Indonesia, Malaysia, Philippines and Singapore are slotted on Seed 1. The champions of MPL Cambodia, Brazil alongside with runner-ups of MPLD Indonesia, Philippines will be in Seed 2. The rest M3 World Championship qualifiers will be in Seed no. 3.

M3 World Championship Group Stage

One team each from seed will be distributed to a total of 4 groups (Group A, B, C and D) and the 8 from Seed 3 will also distributed evenly to each group. Do note that teams from the same country will not be in the same group and no team will be eliminated during the  single round-robin format group stage.

All the games will be livestreamed on Mobile Legends: Bang Bang’s official platforms YouTube and Facebook. Match 1 starts at 2:00PM (GMT +8). Group Stage start on Dec. 6 to 9 then the Playoffs will on Dec. 11 to 18 an the last day is Grand Finals Match which is on Dec. 19.

After the group stage, results will be determine for the Playoffs seeding. The format features double-elimination bracket where top two teams in each group will go up to upper bracket and the bottom two during the group stage will head to battle in lower bracket.

Matches is upper bracket will we a best-of-five (BO5) while the lower bracket matches only features best-of-three (BO3) until the 3rd round and will follow the best-of-five format after that. The winners of upper and lower bracket will battle for the next M3 Grand Champion in a best-of-seven game series (BO7).
