Google’s new Android 4.4 OS is your new chocolate named KitKat

Google announced their new and latest Android Operating System called Kitkat under version 4.4. Yes, it is KitKat. Your favorite chocolate candy bar available at any convenience store nearest you now becomes a Google’s Android OS name.

I was surprise with new Android version as I’m expecting for the rumored Key Lime Pie which is said to be the next OS from Google under version 5.0. The new OS name sounds like a joke but this what Google announced that KitKat is your new dessert after Jellybean 4.3.

Kitkat aims to “make an amazing Android experience available for everybody”. It makes me wonder if all devices with previous versions of Android can experience Kitkat OS. If that’s the case Kitkat should come with different flavors on each previous versions, let’s say KitKat OS for Jellybean would be KitKat 4.4 Jelly or something like KitKat 4.4 Chunky. Since the name sounds sweet, naming would more fun and interesting if they will patch Kitkat updates to all previous devices in that naming sequence. That’s just my crazy idea, don’t mind it guys. :)

We still have no hint on what KitKat OS would give us, let just wait for a couple of days to gather ideas and rumors around the web or wait for Google official announcement on the sweetest flavor of KitKat OS. That’s it for now guys, “Have a break, have a KitKat. (source)
