As year 2012 ends Globe Telecom financial performance is increasing in all market segments as they attract more subscribers both mobile and broadband.

Recently Globe Tattoo is declared as Best Broadband Provider in the Philippines according to Frost and Sullivan consulting firm. With a huge increase of their broadband revenues, network switching offers and cornering the latest devices with exclusive privileges proves that Globe attracts and earned sweet spots from its competitors.
Globe Telecom 49 % increase

Globe successfully attracts 49% switchers from rival networks

According to recent survey conducted by Nielsen, indicated that rival network’s subscribers switching to Globe and 49 percent of total SIM switchers came from competition.

Study was conducted independently by Nielsen Philippines among 12,937 SIM users randomly selected respondents nationwide both rural and urban areas.

With attractive offers and campaigns from competitors Globe still manage to add nearly 135,000 subscribers on third to fourth quarter last year. Same goes on prepaid and TM segments as they acquired a combined 1.3 million subscribers. Its broadband also gained almost 88,000 subscribers on the last six months of 2012.

“Leading the market with innovation and customization, Globe continues to reinforce its position as a strong and formidable challenger in the market with sustained subscriber gains despite the aggressive switching campaigns and negative tirades of our competitors. We are bringing in this huge source of inspiration and motivation as we sustain growth momentum this year and in the years to come,” said Ernest Cu, Globe President and CEO.
