Google Maps for Iphone Is Now Available for Download On Apple Store

It’s been a long time looking for the right Google Maps application for iPhone, search is over as Google pleased to announce to the world that your much awaited reliable mapping application is now available for download at Apple App Store. Google Maps for iPhone is designed to get more comprehensive, easy to use maps, voice guided including turn by turn navigation, vector maps, Street View and more.

Few months ago after Apple launched its own mapping service along with iPhone 5 iOS6 and decided to drop Google. Lot of reports and criticism on the said application in terms of accuracy and lacked of features on what Google Maps had.  The issue leads Tim Cook (Apple Chief Executive) in asking apology to all users about Apples Maps.

As Google Blog says, Google Maps is compatible to iPhone and iPod Touch (4th generation) iOS 5.1 and higher. Available in more than 40 countries and 29 languages, do note also that some features above aren’t available on some countries. (Sources: 12)
