Have you heard about Twinkle Dudu? Do you like Carpenters? Can you sing Close To You? Those makes me miss this band, the last time I saw them playing live was when I am on college at my hometown. A Cebuano band known for their punk cover songs of The Carpenters’ ‘Close To You’ and ‘Yesterday Once More’. A whole day of Youtube searches while enjoying the long weekend landed me to their music video of “The Classic” which reminds me back home and my old schools days. Fast catchy melodic guitar riffs, double pedal kickin’ attack of drums, breath taking vocals and camouflagic bass slaps as what they describe each elements of their music.
