Do you know what happens exactly if somebody access it? Unfortunately, before reading some articles on the web (yours, for example), I clicked on one of these suspicious link. Yeah, I know I'm very idiot because I did it, but it's too late to regret, that's the why I wanted to know which problems I'll have.
Tks!

Regards from Brazil.

Tatyana, never click those suspicious link as you click them you are helping them to their purpose of gaining traffic, beware of other suspicious link as we don’t know if it contains malicious script.

Is there any way to officially report referral spam? I read somewhere that Google removes the links, when they find out about them; can we help them find out? :-)

I'm getting some from adsresultpages, adsensewatchdog, and in-ter-net.info

Thanks for the article I am less worried now having read that.

I've been seeing some of this lately as well, thanks for clearing up what it was for me.

I also just got traffic sources from adsensewatchdog and ZombieStat.

Anyone know if there is a way to block those unwanted URLs?

Create a "robots.txt" file and host on your Blogger site, listing the offending sites.

so is this actual traffic? Or it's just a bot?
Stumble Upon should be fine - people can add web pages here that they like, so if you didn't add your blog page to Stumble Upon it may have been that one of your readers of followers did :)

Is anyone at Blogger listening, reading and acting. Or should I just ignore, but find that my stats are not accurate..rather inflated by url's which can be a problem for future..may be virus connections or disruptions or even diversion..BLOGGER...do something!!!

I created a robot.txt file (you actually have to paste the info in under Google's 'Settings') and it made no difference whatsoever to these URLs - they still show up in my traffic.

Bots only pay attention to those settings if they're decent web crawlers. Clearly spambots are not. No one seems able to offer advice on how to block them and Google's so-called 'help' is no help at all. Blogspot offers no way to send an email to Google to complain about this. Way to go, Google!

i wanna report a blogger blog as spam.
Great, so what happens if I did click to see what it was? I read that it can instantly spread a virus to your computer. (Vampire Stat, at least) I just did a scan and didn't find anything, though. Does anyone know if this is true?!

i posted only 3 blogger blogs. im newbie. n i got some traffic from filmhill n vampirestat. my question is-
1.what harm do they make on my blogs?
2.what's there benefit...

anybody help.
It (vampirestat) is some kind of online service providing data and statistics about domain names. They show up in my reports too.

I`m pretty sure they do no harm to your blog.

OK, now I know that the Blogger programmers are at a complete loss on stopping this. But meanwhile the stats are meaningless. Good thing we are not paying for it. The stats are just useless. Perhaps next year? Blogger is nice people so we can accept that. Thanks.

Did they get it?

I was getting about 200- 300 hits on my blog every couple hours. I looked at what pages and post of mine were showing higher than average hits. I had 1 page that usually gets about 90 per day and it jumped to 105, not alot, so I looked at the post and comments and deleted suspicious comment and pingbacks, vampirestat stopped hitting my blog. Don't know if this will work for anyone else? Worth atry I guess
I want to know how to remove this too
Extremely annoying. Vampirestat is probably a spam bot. Blogger officials apparently are powerless to stop this menace.
