If you want to turn off your wireless network at home or in the office due to large amount of connected users that causes your internet to slow down, you can use the steps below on how to do it by yourself. Instructions below may vary depending on the router issued to you by PLDT but mostly you'll be working on Wireless tab on router's web interface to achieve what you want. In this tutorial I’m using P-2612HNU-F1F PLDT myDSL model, it’s just a simple click or tick button on router page and you’re done.

Steps on How To Enable and Disable PLDT P-2612HNU-F1F WiFi Network
Do note that once to successfully deactivated or disabled you Wireless network, all connected device like laptops, smartphones and tablets will no longer be able to access the internet. Only wired or connected thru LAN cable device can connect to the internet.
- Open your browser and type 192.168.1.1 on the address bar
- On PLDT modem login page, type username and password. Use ‘adminpldt’ for username and ‘1234567890’ for the password.
- Go to Network Settings
- Click on Wireless
- On Wireless Network Setup, un-tick to disable and tick to enable then click apply once your done.
Note that when you enable, please configure your WiFi password to avoid unauthorized access on your network. You can also hide and unhide your WiFi SSID on the same page.
