Globe Telecom recent press release revealed that their broadband revenues get a huge 16 percent increase for the fourth quarter of last year. To support their broadband revenue increase, Globe Tattoo was declared as the Best Broadband Provider in the Philippines carrying the ‘live without limits’ campaign as per global consulting firm Frost & Sullivan.

Other broadband competitor’s (Smart and Sun) combined revenues decline to a lower percentage ending up to 20% less than Globe’s total broadband revenues as year 2012 ends. Globe Tattoo broadband also took in 261,000 new subscribers and 77% of them are Tattoo on the go subscribers according to Globe Broadband Business head.
With Globe Telecom revenue increase, their postpaid business posted its highest growth of subscribers adding 300,000 new postpaid subscribers in third quarter of 2012. This resulted to P5.8 billion growth in subscriber’s revenue that increase 25 percent in the same quarter in 2011.
