Every smartphone user needs to maximize the capability and function of their owned unit, just like what Cherry Mobile Flare S100 users wanted with this phone. Aside from call, text and games, you may want to access internet using this phone but the problem is your GPRS, 3G, MMS settings is not yet activated or you don’t know how to activate and configure it. This post may help you that case, we provide you the manual settings if your network is not capable of sending the configuration settings over the air.

Cherry Mobile Flare
If you’re Globe, Smart or Sun Cellular Flare user, you can use this configuration guide below if your network tells you that the keyword you type or send to request for GPRS settings is invalid. Reason why you are receiving that error may be this Cherry Mobile Flare is not supported with OTA settings download for now.


How to configure or activate Cherry Mobile Flare internet settings

  1. Go to Settings
  2. Select More...
  3. Mobile Networks
  4. Select Subscription
  5. Access Point Names
  6. Create New APN

Cherry Mobile Flare 3G/GPRS settings:

  • Name: myGlobe Internet / INET
  • APN: http.globe.com.ph
  • APN type: default, supl (or type internet if empty)
  • Proxy: Not set
  • Username: Not set
  • Password: Not set
  • Server: Not set
  • MMSC: Not set
  • MMS Proxy: Not set
  • MMS Port: Not set
  • MCC: 515
  • MNC: 02
  • Authentication type: Not set


Leave other fields as is.

If you want to use myGlobe Connect, just look for the APN details here and create another APN.

Cherry Mobile Flare MMS Settings:

  • Name: myGlobe MMS
  • APN: mms.globe.com.ph
  • APN type: mms
  • Proxy: Not set
  • Username: Not set
  • Password: Not set
  • Server: Not set
  • MMSC: http://192.40.100.22:10021/mmsc
  • MMS Proxy: 192.40.100.20
  • MMS Port: 8080
  • MCC: 515
  • MNC: 02
  • Authentication type: Not set


Leave other fields as is.

For Sun Cellular:

Other networks may require activation to activate 3G /GPRS service, for Smart users you need to text 3G ON to 333, MMS ON to 333 and for Sun Cellular users you need to text ACTIVATE to 2300.

My phone is cherry flare xl plus, and its octa core but when im using my data its came out 3g only, while on my other phone its just quadcore but its H+. why is that? Does flare xl plus cant have h+? Anyone knows?
